Chest Deflection

Overview

Chest compression is measured for frontal impacts to predict thorax injuries. The maximum chest compression is compared to the chest depth of the dummy.

Inputs

  • Chest Displacement (X)

Calculation

  1. Clip signal to time > 0
  2. Filter the deflection at CFC = 600
  3. Calculate the peak displacement
  4. Compare peak to injury risk value
